Situated in Dawlish Warren, South
Devon, Hazelwood Park is a stone's throw from some beautiful local
towns and villages.
Just 3/4 a mile from Hazelwood
Park there is a small village called Cockwood. It has two village
pubs one of which, The Anchor, is renown for its fabulous seafood
menu.
Dawlish is our nearest town has
a bustling little centre with shops like Boots and Woolworths
along its high street. It also has a beautiful brook running through
its centre which is teaming with ducks and traditional Black Swans
(the symbol of Dawlish). It has its own beaches and you can walk
home to Hazelwood Park along the sea wall.
If you fancy doing some serious
shopping the best stores can be found only a 30 minute drive away
in Exeter. Founded in Roman times the city also boasts major historical
interest. Highlights are the cathedral, quayside, and ancient
city wall. You can also find large 24 hour supermarkets and out
of town shopping areas. Well worth a visit while you're here.
Dawlish Warren is also close to
Torquay, Totnes and Dartmouth some of Devon's best known towns.
